There will be no ringing at All Saints on 19th February as there is no evening service.

January 29th 2012

As January 29th 2012 was the fifth Sunday of the month, a quarter peal of Plain Bob Major was attempted before the evening service at All Saints. The attempt was succesful and the ringers taking part were: Alan Cozens 1, Debbie Sampson 2, John Lindsay 3, Andrew White 4, Nicholas Elks 5, Nicholas Parsons 6, Graham Paul 7 and Colin Sampson (who conducted the ringing) 8. The quarter peal took 48 minutes to complete and was Andrew White's first of major.

New incumbent appointed at All Saints, Northampton

It has been announced that Father David McConkey, presently at Swindon Newtown in Wiltshire, will be formally installed as the next Rector of Northampton during a service on Saturday 28th April 2012. It is hoped that all ten bells can be rung both before and after the service which will begin at 3pm.

Christmas Day 2011

For the first time for many many years, the bells of the three Town Centre churches where services are held regularly were rung on Christmas Day. St Giles rang from 9.15am to 10am with the band comprising Nick Parsons, Helen, Steve and Matthew Hayward, and Michael and Judith Jenkins. At All Saints the bell were rung from 9.55am to 10.25am and the ringers there were Debbie and Colin Sampson, Marion Johnson, Graham and Alan Paul, Giles Willson, Nick Elks, Peter Craddock and Nick Parsons. Finally Holy Sepulchre sounded out between 10.30am and 11am with the following ringers taking part: Debbie and Colin Sampson, Marion Johnson, Graham and Alan Paul, Mary Horsley, Nick Elks, Peter Craddock and Nick Parsons.

Ringing for All Saints tide, 2011.

Ringing took place at All Saints on two occasions recently to celebrate the Patronal Festival.
On Sunday 30th October a quarter peal of 1260 Plain Bob Triples was rung before the evening service. The band was as follows: 1 Colin Brown, 2 Bridget paul, 3 Debbie Sampson, 4 Giles Willson, 5 Nick Elks, 6 Graham Paul, 7 Colin Sampson, 8 Nick Parsons. Colin Sampson conducted the quarter peal which took 49 minutes to complete.
Before the 6pm Festal Eucharist on All Saints Day, 1st November, all ten bells were rung to call changes and Grandsire Caters. The ringers who took part were Elaine Seaton, Marion Johnson, Liz Moore, Debbie Sampson, Jenny Ball, Bridget Paul, Peter Craddock, Nick Elks, Colin Brown, Colin Sampson, Alan Paul and Graham Paul.
